building a bright future in Tamale, Ghana
We are partnering with Nguvu Foundation to build the bright future academy in Tamale, Ghana
Nguvu is the Swahili word for strength, and the Nguvu Foundation aims to serve underprivileged communities in Ghana, by partnering with over 1,500 women to pick and produce shea butter and its by-products proving them with fair pay and opportunities to support their families.

These women are often the sole caretakers and breadwinners of their families. Due to the reality of poverty, their young children are forced to join them to work as they do not have access to nurseries nor money for childcare.

TMS is working with Nguvu to build the Bright Future Academy, a free preschool that will provide a safe environment and quality education for the children of these hard-working women.
We aim to raise £10,000 over the next 6 months to build, furnish, staff, and open the school in 2024.
